What on earth could be more luxurious than a sofa, a book and a cup of coffee? One of my favourite authors, Anthony Trollope hit the nail on the head when he said this. I couldn't agree more. I pictured this scene with a mid century modern sofa, a pile of books and a monstera (that's what I'm supposed to call a cheese plant apparently) ooh and the coffee/tea.
I drew this art print as part of a book lovers sticker set. I liked a mid century modern feel for it and enjoy creating scenes where light sources highlight the saturated colours. The mood is cozy.
